Hello, my name is Anna Akers and I founded Creature Comforts Pet and Home Care in Orlando, FL. Creature Comforts was created out of my great love of animals and my desire to care for them. I’ve had animals in my life since the day I was born. As I grew older, and had pets of my own, finding a knowledgeable and caring pet sitter became a real necessity.

I want you to be comforted by the peace of mind that comes from knowing that someone trustworthy, reliable, and compassionate is looking after the pets most dear to you, as well as your home. I strongly believe pets that remain in the Comfort of their familiar surroundings are happier and healthier. Being Creatures of habit, environmental changes truly affect a pet’s health and overall well being. I am committed to giving your pets the respect, attentiveness and care they deserve while you are away.

I have lived in the Orlando area since 1987. During this time I received both my Bachelors and my Masters degree from UCF. Prior to owning Creature Comforts I worked for the State Attorney’s Office as a Human Resources Administrator. Over the years I have volunteered with many animal organizations. I currently live with my 14 year old dog; Beany, five cats; Anderson, Buddy, Chico, Pickles & Jack and two parakeets.
